The Junior Project Manager is responsible for the on-time tracking and reporting of multiple projects on the FTAP portfolio. The Junior PM will be a primarily office-based role but require an expert level of specialist technical knowledge & experience, including Project Management, Civil Engineering, Telecommunication, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop project specifications, agree project plan baseline including scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones, and deadlines.
Management of multiple projects through the various stages of initiation, planning, execution, and closeout.
Provide leadership and coordination of regional managers, Cluster managers, Grid managers on site works throughout project execution, handover to customer and final site acceptance as well as building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
Responsible for overall project SLA performance and ensuring assigned projects attain an acceptable customer SLA.
Manage project milestones by daily tracking of detail and by providing weekly or monthly reports as directed.
Possess ability to manage and drive subcontractors and suppliers for speedy deliverables.
Responsible for the planning and overall project schedule along with the use and management of appropriate internal tracking systems such as site tracker and master tracker.
Establishment of project program and delivery against such program.
Responsible for ensuring all risks to both project and program are identified, managed, and mitigated.
Responsible for fostering and managing relationships with both internal and external customers.
Provide regular reports to management detailing project performance, project staffing updates and potential new business opportunities.
Co-ordinate planned and agreed material resources for every assigned project and ensure all requirements are preplanned and available on site.
Continuously review performance of regional managers, Cluster managers, contractors working on assigned projects to ensure FTAP is getting the best value for the customer.
Responsible for setting up a proper governance structure for all assigned projects.
Ensure compliance with FTAP safety and regulatory requirements for all company personnel and 3rd party vendors.
Qualifications:
Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the FTAP organization to achieve business results effectively and professionally.
Ability to manage and deliver on a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business (one or more business units)
Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs as needed.
Education and Experience:
University Degree in Civil, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering and/or Construction Management preferred.
PMP certifications or equivalent project management certifications a big Plus.
Minimum of three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in project managing wireless telecommunication site development, including co-location and expansion.
