The Security Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of site security operations to ensure the safety and protection of all company owned assets, employees, and customers while liaising with various relevant security agencies/law enforcement sectors within the Philippines. The role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual who can effectively manage a team of security personnel, develop, and implement security policies, and coordinate security initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of company assets, employees, and customers.
Oversee and manage all security operations, including access control, CCTV monitoring, perimeter security, and incident response.
Manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Manage, coordinate with, and evaluate security agencies and caretakers.
Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential security threats.
Ensure FTAP is primed to proactively react to emerging security threats with minimal impact to its business, employees, and obligations to business partners.
Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, security service providers, and local communities and barangays to benefit the security of sites.
Ensure compliance with all relevant local laws, regulations, and standards related to local security operations.
Develop a strong stakeholders database and relationship with the sole purpose of developing collaborative relationship.
Identify, evaluate, plan, and manage the transition of security resources for newly acquired sites.
Develop and implement emergency response and business continuity plans to ensure the organization can respond effectively to any crisis.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure security considerations are integrated into all business processes and decision-making.
Manage the budget and resources allocated to the security department.
Prepare and deliver regular reports on security operations and incidents to PMO and senior management.
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor's degree in security management, criminology, law enforcement or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in security management, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of security practices, procedures, and technologies.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of security personnel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Relevant certifications in security management and OHS.
With experience in the telecommunications industry.
