

About the Role
The Power, Spares, and Inventory Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the inventory of spare parts and equipment in our organization. The specialist will work closely with various departments to forecast inventory needs, maintain inventory accuracy, and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels.
Job Requirements/Specifications
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement spares and inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper inventory management.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and maintenance teams to plan and forecast spares inventory needs.
Monitor inventory levels of critical spares and equipment to ensure that they meet the needs of operations and maintenance.
Manage spares and inventory database and generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and turnover.
Identify and resolve issues related to spares and inventory accuracy and develop strategies to improve inventory management processes.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spares and equipment.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends and provide recommendations for spares and inventory optimization.
Maintain and update equipment manuals and specifications.Â
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to spares and inventory management.
Stay up to date with industry trends and developments related to spares and inventory management.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field·      3+ years of experience in spares and inventory management or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software
Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures and equipment specifications
