

About the Role
The Power Specialist is a technical expert with long field experience to assist the Power Implementation Team, the O&M Team, and the Tower Operation Centre (TOC) to verify and test installed Power Systems. He/She provides technical and operations-related assistance with fault or performance analysis of the Power Systems by analyzing data from the Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS). The Power Specialist ensures that overall network Power availability increases with general refurbishment projects within the allocated budgets.
Job Requirements/Specifications
Key Responsibilities:
Fault analysis of complete AC/DC Power systems including all power components from Utility transformer till the last end load circuit breakers
Perform thorough site and power audits
Supervise teams and service partners responsible for power implementation and power efficiencies projects or general refurbishment
Ensure timely reporting to Power Rollout/implementation PM on all activities
Provide recommendations and solutions to power problems and assist with implementation and execution thereof
Presenting technical recommendations and support the recommended changes
Review and provide detailed AC/DC Power Solutions design recommendations.
Compile complete bill of materials (BOM) for implementations or upgrades.
Provide detailed AC/DC Power Upgrade designs and solutions to support FTAP objectives.
Identify problems on all relevant power components of the AC/DC Power system equipment and infrastructure.
Proven knowledge and ability to analyze and solve power configuration problems.
Ability to manage projects, ensuring that projects are clearly defined, systematically executed, and results oriented.
