Frontier Towers achieves another milestone, first ITC to reach 500 colocations

MANILA, Philippines – September 30, 2024 – Frontier Tower Associates Philippines Inc. (“Frontier Towers” or “Frontier”), the Philippines’ largest independent tower company focused on investing in, building, and operating telecommunications infrastructure, is pleased to announce that it reached the 500-colocation mark today.
Frontier Towers owns and operates close to 5,000 cell towers across the Philippines of which 500 sites are now shared between two or more mobile network operators. This significant milestone underscores Frontier’s commitment to enable mobile operators to accelerate network improvement and expansion plans and improve the service to their customers. This is achieved through e ective delivery management and cutting-edge colocation solutions.
Frontier Towers is deploying innovative retrofitting solutions, including the use of custom designed kits and tower extensions, to prioritize delivery e iciency and provide a seamless integration for mobile network operators. This has allowed Frontier to bring these colocation sites online in record time.
Commenting on this achievement, Yvonne Steele, Chief Operating Officer at Frontier Towers, said, “This milestone is a testament to our capacity to deliver high caliber colocation services at scale. Our focus on and investment in innovative solutions has enabled Frontier to provide Smart, Globe and Dito with faster deployment times, which has been critical in addressing the increasing demand for enhanced network connectivity.”
