Frontier Towers signs Memorandum of Agreement with Ateneo de Davao University
to further support Jesuit Education in the Philippines

Davao City, Philippines – June 24, 2024 – Frontier Tower Associates Philippines, Inc. (“Frontier”), an Asia-focused digital infrastructure platform specializing in the investment, construction, and operation of telecommunications infrastructure, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Ateneo de Davao University (“AdDU”), a prestigious Jesuit institution of higher education established in 1912 and the second oldest Jesuit university in the Philippines. This partnership aims to further support the mission of Jesuit education in Mindanao.

The signing of Memorandum of Agreement follows a similar partnership that Frontier forged on November 14, 2023, with Ateneo de Zamboanga University, another Jesuit institution dedicated to the same mission. The partnership with AdDU is designed to support the university’s mission of educating and shaping students to become leaders committed to social inclusion, community development, and transformation, all grounded in Filipino, Catholic, and Jesuit values.

Frontier’s key commitments in this partnership include pledged financial support, donations, scholarships, and contributions of time and expertise program through internships and training, and employment opportunities. Furthermore, Frontier is committed to enhancing network connectivity on the AdDU campus, thereby improving the technological infrastructure necessary for modern education.

These commitments will help advance the university’s funding, programs, human resources, infrastructure, technology, master planning, and other strategic initiatives, which will in turn contribute to the achievement of the Jesuit educational mission and foster sustainable economic and social development in the Mindanao region where Frontier was founded, and the Philippines as a whole.

As part of Frontier’s broader mission, this advocacy aligns with our commitment to enhancing digital connectivity and inclusion across the country. By supporting educational institutions like AdDU and AdZU, among others, Frontier also contributes to the sustainable development and digital transformation of the nation.
